Esa Santamäki
Spatial Designer
Esa “Esmi” Santamäki is Design Factory’s primary interior architect, despite the fact that he actually studied product development and IDBM at TKK’s Mechanical Engineering department. Design Factory is actually a part of his Master’s thesis about product development working spaces and their design. Currently he is also a post graduate level student at School of Art and Design.
He has previous work experience from Nokia, where he spent five years building intranets and doing other computer-related stuff. Esa is computer whiz who is mostly interested in mobile devices and developing service concepts. He’s also passionate about product development and entrepreneurship, and might actually be looking for a partner. He also plays badminton every Wednesday, if someone is looking for company.
