- DFRT - research supporting passion-based development and learning
Design Factory’s own research team, DFRT, aims to provide a theoretical base and new ideas for the long-term continuous development of the Factory. The research explores central ideas of the Design Factory philosophy, supporting the development of the passion-based co-creation and learning platform. The ultimate aim is to support continuous development and developing, enhance the transformation of pedagogical culture, evoke and sustain proactivity, and to foster an entrepreneurial mindset and active behavior.
At the moment, the research team contains three full-time workers and three part-time contributors (see People). In the spirit of interdisciplinarity, their academic fields include cognitive science, organizational psychology, product development, educational psychology, higher education, and industrial design.
